The Llibreria Antiquària Delstres was born in Barcelona in 1987, after a long collaboration (since 1977) with our father and teacher Diego Gómez Flores. We specialize in rare and antique books, preferably prior to the twentieth century; in Latin, Spanish, Catalan and other of romance field (French, Italian, etc.).
Our funds are specializing in subjects such as history and literature, fine arts and applied arts, history of the church and inquisition, social minorities, Jewish, economy and trade, literature and history of the Catalan-speaking countries.
Regularly we publish catalogs and thematic topics that are submitted to our clients and friends by email and/or printed on paper.
We recently introduced a line of modern literature (1920-2000) and bibliographic archive of more than 175,000 bibliographic records, books and specialized catalogs.
We are interested in acquiring rare books and uniques manuscripts, as well as collections and libraries that are significant and numerous. We offer our mediation to reach the best public libraries and private foundations; information about books, manuscripts and documents that are offered for sale by individuals interested in the transmission and preservation of its collections.
We are founding members (1990) of the Associació Ibèrica de Llibreries Anticuarias (AILA), and during our presidency, the first eight years of the association, was incorporated as a full member (Los Angeles CA, 1994) in the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
